I enjoyed my time at this place with friendly hosts and other guests. The kitchen and common areas felt inviting, allowing me to talk with travelers from around the world. Breakfast had many options to choose from, and I appreciated the opportunity to share meals with others. Lorna provided helpful information about local attractions. It felt good to uncover the history of the area while connecting with people during my stay.

The shower had issues with temperature and was small. The pillows were not comfortable, making sleep a bit difficult for me. The bed was fine, but the lack of a proper breakfast service was noticeable. I wanted more variety, especially fresh options.

our stay was delightful with easy access to the valdez museum and historical archive, which was only a 10-minute walk away. We found lovely walking paths nearby for a relaxing stroll through the city.

I loved the huge common area for relaxing and the self-serve breakfast options—so many choices! Plus, using the massage chair was a perfect way to unwind after a long day.

Our family had a fantastic time hiking on the Thompson Pass trail and taking in the stunning views. The kids loved splashing in the creek along the way, and my partner and I enjoyed the fresh mountain air. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast could have included more variety for our picky eaters.

Great fit for a city break in Valdez with excellent value. The beds were comfortable and provided a decent night's sleep. Bring your own pillows for extra comfort.
